Newf World Our Forum Drules Although we do our best to create an open forum; we find rules essential to keep our community healthy and fun. Rules inform all members, new and residents, what we expect of each other.
Before we begin, this is a rule that we feel very protective of. Copyright infringement is extremely frowned upon. Newf World members, their pictures, stories, and posts ARE the sole property of the Newf World Individual posters. Posts, Pictures, and stories may NOT be duplicated without permission. A lot of times if you just ask, they would love to share. First Newfoundland Dog people are just as passionate as the next person. We encourage a broad range of discussions, hence, heated debates can happen.
We ask if you see a thread that is
Posting angry will only add fuel to the fire. If you can handle that, well then go for it, but we ask you do NOT get personal. Second No being mean, nasty, or harassing to a anyone or each other using Newf World private messaging, email contacts or blogs. If this happens, You are encouraged to forward the message to one of our Administrators RobinK or Crazy4Suki. Third We won't allow Newf World Forum or blogs to be used as a source of selling Newfoundland dogs or any other animal. A post such as this will be deleted. Special comments to breeders are found below. We encourage posting links to rescues, but make sure selling is not the main point. An adoption fee can be seen as selling, so don't put this in your post. If it is to a link outside of Newf World, then the link can be posted. We do welcome rescue groups who are coordinating fundraisers, or expressing their need to accept donations, or eBay sites that are for a good cause, anything to assist with their rescuing efforts, asking for transport help or foster parents will be allowed. If this starts to be abused, we'll revisit it and possibly remove this opportunity. Fourth Posts made soliciting monetary contributions toward personal causes...human or non...is prohibited. However, you may feel free with posting EBay, businesses, new businesses, and the such. Just don't join up and supply a Pay Pal button under a sad story.
Fifth In NO shape or form will we or allow pornography to be sent to our members or posted at links. It isn't funny, and it's completely tacky. Don't do it, and this is one rule, that will win you a trip right back out.
Last but not least Please do NOT slam other Newfie forums on our group. We ask this out of respect to other groups. Let's be a little more like our Newfies and learn to have a tolerance and acceptance for differences. If you don't like what they are doing elsewhere, don't go there anymore, and don't bring it into Newf World. Thank-you so much for your understanding.

Extra Info: 1. Getting too personal: "Rosemary it surprise me to find out you beat your dogs and your husband is a drunk and that is why you are so mean and chase people off." WHOA. Uncalled for. 2. Newf World Admins and Moderators can not be held responsible for rescue groups. We cannot inspect them all, so we will not be held responsible for rescue groups. We suggest if you are interested then you are responsible for researching the rescue place. We suggest you act with caution and confirm the conditions or for the reputation of such sites. 3. A special note to breeders: we do encourage you to tell us about yourselves, and share when you have pups. However, all pups have to be spoken for prior to your posting and you need to make that clear. We love all the furries, and who doesn't love puppies! If pup or dogs are part of your lot to brag about we also encourage this. Full names can be used on this board.
In all other cases, we are not responsible for messages posted on these boards. We realize there are some tall tales floating around out there, but chances are, we believe them too! So just be careful. Don't take everything you read to heart. Do your own research.
